Everyday Dish Cloth Crochet Pattern

The Everyday Dish Cloth is designed using 100% cotton yarn. Cotton yarn is great when wet and perfect for all kitchen or bathroom needs. The Everyday Dish Cloth is just that, it can be used everyday and thrown in the dryer. The stitch I used has been around for many years, it is very versatile and can easily be increased to make a blanket.

STITCH GUIDE
ch(s) - chain(s), dc - double crochet, st(s) - stitch(es), slst - slip stitch, sp(s) - space (s), sk - skip,  Yo - yarn over
NOTES
Pattern is worked starting in one corner and increased to the desired length/height and decrease is then started to end in opposite corner.
PATTERN

Row 1: Ch 6, dc in 4th st from hook (photo 1), dc in next 2. (1 cluster)


Row 2: Ch 6, dc in 4th st from hook (photo 2), dc in next 2 (photo 3), flip 1st cluster up, sl st to top unworked ch in 1st cluster (photo 4 &5), ch 3, 3dc in ch sp. (photo 6) (2 clusters)
Row 3: Ch 6, dc in 4th st from hook, dc in next 2, (photo 7) turn completed clusters up, sl st to top unworked ch, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp, sl st in top unworked ch in next cluster, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp. (3 clusters)

Row 4: Ch 6, dc in 4th st from hook, dc in next 2, turn completed clusters up, sl st to top unworked ch, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp, * sl st in top unworked ch in next cluster, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp; repeat from * till end. (4 clusters)
Row 5 - 9: Repeat Row 4 until you have a total of 9 clusters.
Row 10: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, sl st in next 3, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp, * sl st in top unworked ch in next cluster, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp; repeat from * till your cluster is even with cluster from previous row, sl st in top unworked ch in next cluster. (8 clusters)
Row 11- 16: Repeat Row 10 decreasing each row till you have 2 clusters left.
Row 17: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, sl st in next 3, ch 3, 3dc in ch sp, sl st in next cluster. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
